Staff were very friendly and helpful. Kitchenette was great.

Our room was very dated and a bit small, especially when you put a cot in there as well.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

The location was expensive to get into the city on a regular basis and it was situated in the red light district. I was disappointed when I settled my bill that I was charged an extra $30 as my stay included a Saturday night, which I was not aware of prior to my booking.

    Location and staff friendliness.

Rooms were slightly cramped, albeit well finished. Was awoken the first day by roadworks directly outside our window...although the management dealt with that swiftly and allowed us to move to a room on the other side of the building which was actually of better quality. I don't think the price is particularly good value, but it appears to be around the going rate for this type of accommodation in Sydney.

    location

booked a city view room and only got to see the building next to the hotel that was about 10 meters away not really a city view

Liked how willing to staff were in helping with any problems, issues etc.

Fairly cramped kitchen space, rooms weren't amazing at keeping sound out.

Overpriced hotel in need of serious makeover. Supposed to be 4.5 star????

Professional, smiling, can do staff. Great city views from upper floors. Thirty minutes walk from Sydeny Central.

Shower over corner bath. Get rid of the shower curtains - put in proper glass sliding doors.

we had a lovely stay. the staff were very helpful and polite. many thanks to Katy,Susan,Cyrus for your great service. we are interested for you to quote for the 19th February 2012. thanks again, Max and Robyn Burton.

Good location, 12 min by bus to city, Fair price for accommodation colse to Kings Cross but far away oto be quite

  • Couple

The room was perfectly acceptable for the few hours of sleep I needed. Nothing truly special except the location, 5 min walk from the nightlife of kings cross.

Walls were fairly thin and people coming home from a late night were easily heard. But it was to be expected really, being so close to all the pubs and clubs.

The staff in Reception were the most helpful that we have come across. Their advice on where to go and what to do was very helpful. We also left some items in a drawer and the staff found the items that we had left and posted them onto us for a very reasonable cost. The room we had had a great view over Elizabeth Bay and had everything that we would want. The hotel is perfectly placed to walk to the Opera House, providing that you don't mind a steep climb back up.

Very close to the city and away from the maddenning crowd. Close to most attractions like The Quay, darling Harbour, Paddy's market,Botanical garden,Opera House,Bondi beach. Location is excellent. All rooms have kichenette. Staff are polite and helpful.

I love to cook. I find the pans are too small but you can ask for a bigger one. Sometime, rooms are not cleaned until late afternoon which is not good for an early bird like me.

  • Group of friends

The view through the window was really nice. The hotel is central and close to shops.

This hotel was a real disappointment. The bathroom was dirty and the rooms very small.you can hardly move in rooms. No proper lights in the rooms, only two litte bedside lamps! They didnt even bother to change the towels.Toilet roll holder came off and fell into the toilet.we called the reception.someone came around, picked it up with bare hands, washed it and put it back on!!!we were supposed to stay for three days but left after 36hours!

  • Older travelers
    7.0

The location was good for the visits to the Opera house, botanical Gardens, Museums etc as long as you didnt mind a walk. We didnt use any taxis so cant comment on the cost. The staff were very good in particular a young lady named Kate.As an apartment we had the freedom to do what we wanted with a very good supermarket across the road. Plenty of cafes and resturants in the area. Our room was overlooking the harbour (opposite direction from the Opera House) and away from the street noise. The daily cleaning service was very good.

Our kitchen and bathroom area were a bit tired in need of being updated, Cooking facilities were limited 2 burner hob, microwave, and limited kitchen space.

  • Older travelers

Staff were friendly and helpful, location was great and view was spectacular
